It’s never been easier to save money shopping online than it is today. There are so many different ways you can save it’s nuts. So when I saw Butterfly saves I thought. “Here’s another product…” But after trying it I think this could be my new favourite. Mostly because the cash back seems to be even better than other apps I have seen. Here’s my review of Butterfly Saves

What is Butterfly Saves?

Butterfly Saves is a Chrome browser extension, (think like an app for your Chrome browser). It is a quick install and whenever you are on a site that has a discount Butterfly Saves will give you a little Cash back pop up icon that you can  click on to activate the savings. Best of all it’s free to sign up for and takes 10 seconds.

How does it work?

It’s so simple. Go to Butterfly Saves and sign up for an account (you just need an email). Then activate the extension on your Chrome browser and you are done. When you are on a site that has a discount available it will give you a pop up that you can click on so you can get cash back. They can pay you either by check or Paypal.

Where does it work?

Butterfly Saves offers cash back from 2800 sites at the time of writing this. It works on Chrome browsers, as you surf the internet when you go to a site that has an available cash back you will see this icon

Right now it only works on Chrome web browsers, but I hope they expand it soon. Plus Cash Back from Walmart is a huge bonus!

What I don’t like.

The one thing I don’t like is the accessibility, I wish it was useable on mobile and other browsers. Since it’s a newer app I hope these other ones will be implemented in the future. But as you can see the cash backs can be better than Ebates and Swagbucks so it’s definitely worth having. The Butterfly Saves coupon cash back shows up at the bottom it’s 3.2% compare to Ebates and Swagbucks.

How long does it take to get set up?

10 Seconds. Seriously, that was it.

I did a video on how to get started, but it is so quick it’s almost hard to believe. I wish all technology was this simple.

Butterfly Saves vs Ebates?

As you can see from the above picture it was Butterfly Saves, but Ebates may have better discounts at other places. They both have so many stores in their lists that to compare all of them wouldn’t be possible for me. I would just install both and pick and choose the better cash back.

Butterfly Saves vs Honey?

The big difference is that Honey offers you discount codes to save money at check out. Butterfly Saves offers you cash back on your purchase. The best thing is you can use them both if they work on the same site.

How does Butterfly Saves compare to Ebates and Swagbucks?

The discounts for these sites seems to be ever changing. Based on the above image Butterfly Saves wins, but it’s good idea to sign up for them all if you haven’t already. Here are the links to get signed up and a video that shows you how easy it is to get started.
